Jimmy Kimmel Owes Kaitlyn Bristowe & Shawn Booth $1,000!

Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth are celebrating their one-year anniversary after going public with their relationship following the finale of last season’s Bachelorette.

And that means…Jimmy Kimmel owes the couple $1,000! Here’s why: last year, the couple appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! after The Bachelorette finale, and swore on TV that they would be together after one year.

“We, Kaitlyn and Shawn B., do solemnly swear that we are in love, that we will get married or we will at least be together one year from today. Because if we’re not, this was a huge waste of everyone’s time, including ourselves. If we are not still in a committed relationship on July 27, 2016, we will pay Jimmy Kimmel $1,000,” the couple recited.

Shawn took to Instagram on the one-year anniversary to ask, “Double or nothing @jimmykimmel?”
