“You’ve got to be sensitive in your portrayal of people at all times. You’ve got to be conscientious and you’ve got to be aware of people’s faults,” James told the Press Association at the 2016 AFI Fest premiere of Split held at TCL Chinese Theatre on Tuesday (November 15) in Hollywood. “You’ve got to be aware of people’s good points and their graces. I think that’s the case all the time when you’re portraying somebody who’s suffering or whose way of life is very different from your own.”

Also in attendance at the 2016 AFI Fest premiere was co-stars Anya Taylor-Joy and Betty Buckley, as well as director M. Night Shyamalan and producer Jason Blum.

FYI: Anya is wearing Dolce&Gabbana.
