Dear Evan Hansen's Ben Platt Performs 'For Forever' on 'Colbert' (Video)

Ben Platt is the Tony-nominated star of the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen and he performed one of the show’s songs during an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday night (May 22) in New York City.

The 23-year-old actor, who just became the youngest person to win the Distinguished Performance Award at the Drama League Awards, sang the song “For Forever.”

This was the first time that Ben performed the song outside of the context of the musical, which is nominated for a bunch of Tonys.
