Nicholas Hoult Responds When Asked About Reuniting with Ex Jennifer Lawrence for 'Dark Phoenix'

Nicholas Hoult was asked about what it’s like reuniting with his ex Jennifer Lawrence to work on the X-Men movies, including the upcoming film in the franchise, Dark Phoenix.

“It’s like going back to school after the summer holidays. The reality of [the X-Men franchise] is there are lots of characters, so everyone was together for brief periods, but not every day for four months,” Nicholas told Elle when asked about working with his ex girlfriend.

The pair met on the set of the films back in 2011 and split in 2014.

Nicholas is now dating Bryana Holly, and they have a child together. Jennifer is engaged to art gallery owner Cooke Maroney.
