Emily Deschanel Was Starstruck by Beyoncé at 'The Lion King' Premiere

Emily Deschanel stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers on Wednesday (July 17) and dished all about her experience at the premiere of The Lion King!

The 42-year-old actress attended in support of her father Caleb Deschanel, who is the cinematographer of the Disney film, and talked to Seth about being separated from her phone during the premiere and getting starstruck by Beyoncé.

“Beyoncé was there, that’s how my dad sold it to us. I am a huge Beyoncé fan, I’ve seen her in concert – I mean, who isn’t right?” Emily expressed. “There was literally a standing ovation for her just being her. She came in and I had a clear view of her during the movie. I’m watching her the whole time.”
