Marc Jacobs Will Receive the First-Ever MTV Fashion Trailblazer Award

Marc Jacobs is being honored.

The 56-year-old fashion designer will receive the first-ever MTV Fashion Trailblazer Award, the company announced on Tuesday (July 30).

The award comes in partnership with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), and will honor a designer who has made “an indelible impact within the world of music-artist fashion.”

During the 2019 MTV VMAs, Marc and his team will work with MTV to create a “multimedia activation” on the red carpet to highlight his vision.
