A new trailer for 1917 has been released!
The upcoming Sam Mendes-directed war movie has already been nominated for Best Picture at the upcoming 2020 Critics' Choice Awards and 2020 Golden Globes.
Here's a plot summary: At the height of the First World War, two young British soldiers, Schofield (George MacKay) and Blake (Dean-Charles Chapman) are given a seemingly impossible mission. In a race against time, they must cross enemy territory and deliver a message that will stop a deadly attack on hundreds of soldiers—Blake’s own brother among them.
Mark Strong, Andrew Scott, Richard Madden, Claire Duburcq, Colin Firth and Benedict Cumberbatch all co-star in the movie.
1917 will be out in theaters on Christmas Day, December 25!
