Mary Elizabeth Winstead Says Filming 'Birds Of Prey' Was 'Exhilarating'!

Mary Elizabeth Winstead paid a visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday (February 3) and dished all about playing an anti-hero in her new movie, Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Quinn!

“This movie is through the eyes of Harley Quinn, so we saw her in Suicide Squad and now she’s emancipated from the Joker in this film,” the 35-year-old actress explained to Jimmy. “She’s on her own and she meets the Birds of Prey who are these female anti-heroes from the comic books who were these really cool, bad ass mysterious characters.”

“It was dangerous but it was exhilarating and fun,” Mary added about doing her own stunts. “I play the Huntress.”

Mary Elizabeth Winstead also reminisced with Jimmy about starring in Factory Girl together and chats about what it was like growing up in a Hollywood child actor community.
