Natalie Dormer Tackles Gender Pay Gap at International Women's Day March in London!

Natalie Dormer is taking a stand!

The 38-year-old Game of Thrones star joined hundred of people during the #March4Women 2020 rally held as part of International Women’s Day at Southbank Centre on Sunday (March 8) in London, England.

Natalie was joined at the event by 1917 star George MacKay, singers Raye and Emeli Sandé, Great British Bake Off presenter Sandy Toksvig, Camilla Thurlow, Nicola Coughlan, Bianca Jagger and Sadiq Khan.

“It feels a nonsense to me that we are even having this debate in a country like Britain,” Natalie expressed about the gender pay gap (via Evening Standard). “Obviously different areas of the world develop at different times and women have to fight at different rates but for us, in a cosmopolitan country, it is absolutely ludicrous that this is not sorted.”

George also had some thoughts on the matter: “Representation (on screen) is obviously very important but oftentimes you don’t realise that behind the camera so much of it is led by women – written by women, directed by women,” he said. “You get used to what you know, especially for me, my blindness has been that I haven’t questioned anything because to be frank it;s worked for me. I’ve always seen myself represented and I’ve never questioned why I haven’t walked into a room and felt compromised. I think sometimes you know what you know and I think it takes something to make you question it.”
