Gerard Butler Joins the Ambassador of Sparta at Gala Dinner Ahead of Olympic Torch Relay

Gerard Butler suits up while attending a gala dinner ahead of the Olympic Torch Relay on Thursday (March 12) in Sparta, Greece.

The 50-year-old actor was joined at the event by Roy Danalis Apostolopoulos, who looked lovely in a red dress. She is the Honourable Ambassador of the City of Sparta.

Also in attendance at the event was Titanic actor Billy Zane, who will also be participating in the torch relay.

Gerard, who is Scottish, has a special connection to Sparta because of his movie 300. Who can forget his line, “This is Sparta”?!?!
