Sharon Stone Recalls Being 'Thrown Across the Kitchen' After Being Struck by Lightning

Sharon Stone is lucky to be alive.

During a new interview with Brett Goldstein on his podcast Films to Be Buried With, the 62-year-old actress revealed that she was once struck by lightning in her own home.

“I was filling the iron with water,” Sharon recalled, while mentioning that her house had its own well. “I had one hand on the faucet, one hand on the iron and the well got hit with lightning and the lighting came up through the water.”

Sharon said the force of the shock sent her flying across her room, knocking her unconscious.

“I got picked up and thrown across the kitchen, and I hit the refrigerator,” Sharon explained. “I was like, ‘Whoa!’”

Luckily Sharon‘s mother was there at the time and was able to help her.

“My mother was standing there, and my mother just belted me across the face and brought me to,” Sharon remembered. “I was in such an altered state.”

Sharon was then rushed to the hospital where an EXG (electrocardiogram) showed that she had electricity surging through her body.

“I had to go get EKGs every single day for 10 days,” Sharon said.
