Jonathan Scott Seemingly Confirms It Was Love at First Sight For Him & Zooey Deschanel

Jonathan Scott was completely smitten with Zooey Deschanel the moment he saw her.

In an interview with E! News, the 42-year-old Property Brothers star opened up about his and Zooey‘s relationship during quarantine and pretty much confirmed that it was love at first sight.

“We talked almost every day after we met,” he shared. “When we started dating, it was just…all of the things lined up.”

Jonathan added, “[It was everything] I had been looking for in a person for years and years and years—and it was the same for her.”

He also spoke of how quarantine treated the couple, and Jonathan revealed he “struck gold because quarantining with Zooey, she is this incredible chef. So, she makes the most fantastic meals every day.”

Other activities they love to do around the house include board games and “we even did a virtual escape room the other night, which was a lot of fun.”

Just a few months ago, Zooey and Jonathan celebrated their one year anniversary.
