Soko Brings Big Fashion for 'Little Fish' Premiere

Soko brings fun and flair in a red Batsheva dress for the premiere of her new pandemic romantic drama, Little Fish, on Friday (February 5) in Los Angeles.

The French actress/singer finished off her look with a large and in charge Sunnei necklace and patent leather Roger Vivier loafers.

Little Fish is about a world with widespread memory loss told through the eyes of one couple (Jack O’Connell and Olivia Cooke).

Soko shared a bit about her character with us: “I play a musician, Sam, whose partner (Raul Castillo) is the first of their friends to be hit by the virus and has forgotten all about her, their relationship, their love, and she becomes a complete stranger to him. I loved working with Raul and the super sweet ways he approached working on the back stories of our characters’ relationship.”

“This was the first job I booked after becoming a mom,” Soko added. “My son was only three months old when we starting filming. And I still had to breastfeed every two hours, nights included, so it was quite wild. The director [Chad Hartigan] also became a dad while we were shooting, so he was the most sensitive person to my mom needs and the biggest feminist male director I’ve ever worked with. So respectful and subtle and really setting the scene perfectly for all of our emotions to unfold effortlessly.”

Little Fish, which has many parallels with the current world’s coronavirus pandemic life, has an impressive 95% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is currently streaming on all rental platforms!
