Where Was Prince Harry & Meghan Markle's Interview with Oprah Taped?

The location for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey has been revealed.

Many speculated that the highly-anticipated interview was filmed at the couple’s home in Santa Barbara, Calif, which they purchased back in July for a reported $14.5 million.

Others thought that the interview was filmed at Oprah‘s home, as she lives close to Meghan and Harry.

However, the Daily Mirror has confirmed that the interview was actually filmed at the California home of Gayle King.

Gayle‘s home makes sense for the interview, due to it’s secluded and nature-filled backyard along with her close ties with Oprah and Meghan.

As many know, Gayle and Oprah have been friends for decades, and she has been a close friend to Meghan. She attended Meghan‘s baby shower in New York City back in 2019.

Gayle is also a news anchor for CBS, which is the station airing Meghan and Harry‘s interview with Oprah.

Before it’s airing, Gayle chatted about the interview, but didn’t say it was filmed at her house.

“They taped at a friend’s home,” Gayle shared on CBS’ This Morning. “People said it was at Oprah’s house or Harry and Meghan’s, [but] it was at a friend’s home.”

Oprah with Meghan and Harry will air tonight from 8pm-10pm ET on CBS – you can check out our full coverage of the interview here.
