Netflix's 'The Irregulars' Cast List - See Who's Playing Who & Meet the Actors!

The new show The Irregulars just premiered on Netflix and it features a cast of relatively unknown actors who are likely going to gain huge fan bases very quickly!

The series is set in Victorian London and follows a gang of troubled street teens who are manipulated into solving crimes for the sinister Doctor Watson and his mysterious business partner, the elusive Sherlock Holmes. As the crimes take on a horrifying supernatural edge and a dark power emerges, it’ll be up to the Irregulars to come together to save not only London but the entire world.

All eight episodes of the first season are currently available to stream on Netflix and they each range anywhere from 49 minutes to 58 minutes in length.

Thaddea Graham as Bea

Character Description: The de facto head of the gang, 17-year-old Bea strives to take care of her younger sister and keep their best friends out of trouble, but she has no idea where their work for Dr. John Watson will take them.

Actor Bio: Originally from Northern Ireland, Thaddea trained at the Arts Educational School in London before securing her first key role in CURFEW (Sky One) which also starred Sean Bean, Billy Zane, Miranda Richardson and Adrian Lester. She most recently appeared in US (BBC), a four-part comedy based on the book by David Nicholls. Earlier in 2020, Thaddea was seen as Iona in the 6-episode series THE LETTER FOR THE KING (Netflix).

Darci Shaw as Jessie

Character Description: More fragile than her sister Bea, 15-year-old Jessie struggles to come to terms with her profound psychic powers, fearing that her gift will alienate her from her friends — if her nightmares don’t kill her first.

Actor Bio: Darci Shaw made her big screen debut in 2019 as the young Judy Garland in Rupert Goold’s JUDY, starring Renée Zellweger. In the same year Darci starred as Holly Meredith in crime drama series THE BAY (ITV) opposite Morven Christie, Chanel Cresswell and Tracie Bennett. Darci has also appeared on stage with Liverpool Everyman Theatre’s Rep Company in two separate productions: ROMEO AND JULIET and FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, in which she played the role of Shprintze.

Mckell David as Spike

Character Description: While he’d much prefer to just use his natural charm to help his friends and strengthen their bonds, Spike discovers he can also be courageous when any one of them, especially Jessie, is in mortal danger.

Actor Bio: Mckell David is based in London. His feature film credits include Guy Ritchie’s THE GENTLEMEN (Miramax), Mandie Fletcher’s PATRICK (Disney) and Adam Randall’s iBOY (Wigwam Films). He can also be seen in Michael Caton-Jones’ URBAN HYMN (Eclipse Films) and Tonnie Dinjens’ TIME WILL TELL (High Concept Films). TV credits include ON THE EDGE (Channel 4), MARCELLA (ITV/Netflix), OUR LOVED BOY (BBC) and HIM (ITV). Mckell also appears as a recurring role in the series HETTY FEATHER (CBBC).

Harrison Osterfield as Leo

Character Description: Cloistered in the royal palace because he’s a hemophiliac, 17-year-old Prince Leopold would rather live as the more down to earth Leo in London, and not just because he’s in love with Bea.

Actor Bio: Harrison, who lives in London, had his breakout role in the 2019 miniseries CATCH-22 (Hulu) directed by George Clooney. His additional film credits include the short films ONE IN A MILLION and ART OF EXPRESSION. Harrison began acting at a young age at school before training at the BRIT School, where he starred in numerous short films, and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

Jojo Macari as Billy

Character Description: Tough boy Billy has carried a torch for Bea since they met as children in the workhouse, and he really doesn’t like it when fancy newcomer Leo catches her eye instead.

Actor Bio: London-based actor Jojo Macari’s TV credits include Kyle in SEX EDUCATION 1 – 3 (Netflix), Prince Henry in HARLOTS (BBC/ITV), Mogwan in CURSED (Netflix), Queach in ENDEAVOUR (ITV) and Daniel in HARD SUN (BBC). Film credits include Dave in MISBEHAVIOUR (Pathe). Henry Lloyd-Hughes as Sherlock Holmes

Character Description: Hardly the legendary sleuth of 221B Baker Street, this Sherlock learns the hard way that he can’t escape his past choices about his personal responsibilities and relationships.

Actor Bio: British actor Henry’s recent TV credits include BAFTA-winning KILLING EVE (BBC/BBC America), LES MISÉRABLES (BBC), THE ENGLISH GAME (Netflix) and Agatha Christie’s THE PALE HORSE (BBC/Amazon Prime Video). Royce Pierreson as Dr. John Watson

Character Description: Though his arrogance and caginess make it
easy for Bea to believe he’s capable of the worst, John eventually reveals that he’s also capable of redemption.

Actor Bio: Royce stars in THE WITCHER (Netflix) opposite Henry Cavill and Anya Chalotra and he will be reprising his role in Season 2. He also had a leading role in WANDERLUST (BBC/Netflix) opposite Toni Collette, and went onto film in the feature JUDY (Working Title) opposite Renee Zellweger, which was released in 2019. Other work includes the multi BAFTA award winning series of LINE OF DUTY (BBC) with Thandie Newton and his leading role in the BAFTA winning drama MURDERED BY MY BOYFRIEND (BBC).
