The 21-year-old “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” superstar got candid on the Spout Podcast about his romantic life.

During the interview, Lil Nas X spoke about his romantic life, and whether he’s dating anyone right now.

“Not right now. Whenever I start dating somebody, I fall too into them sometimes,” he explained, adding that it’s in a good and bad way.

“Good, in whatever my idea of love is right now. But also bad, because this person is maybe occupying too much of my time.”

He also discussed coming out as gay in 2019, and how it’s helped his dating life.

“It’s definitely easier. Before fame, I dated maybe like two, three people. None of the relationship anybody ever knew besides us two, you know?”

He described coming out publicly as “ripping the bandage off,” and talked about whether he experienced any fallout.

“Only from like certain fans, I guess, which weren’t even really like fans yet, because I’d only been famous for like three months.”
