Kanye West Responds to Kim Kardashian's Divorce Petition - See What He's Requesting

Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West back in mid-February and he has just responded to her divorce filing with a petition of his own.

Kanye‘s filing, while a little late, should not impact any decisions made in the case.

In his divorce filing, Kanye West first and foremost has requested joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s four children: North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3 and Psalm, 1. Kim also requested joint custody, though TMZ notes that it “doesn’t automatically mean a 50/50 split, and it’s likely Kim will have the kids the lion’s share of the time.” Most likely, the couple will work out a co-parenting schedule privately and have it approved by the court.

In addition, Kanye, like Kim, does not want spousal support. Both Kim and Kanye are worth a ton of money and do not need financial help. He wants them both to pay their own legal fees as well.

Also important to note that both Kim and Kanye did not list a date of separation on their divorce documents, so we may never know when they actually separated.
