Katie Thurston Makes First Post on Social Media After Wrapping 'The Bachelorette' Season Early

Katie Thurston is back on social media.

The 30-year-old upcoming Bachelorette star connected with fans in a new Instagram video and revealed that following her season wrapping, she’s now in a healthy relationship with someone, and also used her platform to promote getting the COVID-19 vaccine.

“Can’t start a healthy relationship without being healthy.❤️,” Katie captioned in her post. “Got my vaccine today! #covidvacccine.”

Katie spoke about getting the vaccine in the video, and admitted she hates getting shots.

“I do it for my mom, who is an essential worker,” she shared on her why. “Or my sister, who is pregnant. Or my nieces and nephews, who are still in school. I do it for my grandparents. My friends. My community. For you.”
