According to Forbes, Jay-Z is currently worth $1.4 billion dollars as of May of 2021.

Despite not touring or releasing new music lately, he’s still made tons of money from his endeavors, including his Armand de Brignac champagne and D’Ussé cognac, as well as his entertainment company Roc Nation, and a massive fine art collection featuring works by legends like Jean-Michel Basquiat.

Earlier in the year, he sold 50% of his champagne brand to LVMH, and a majority stake of his music company Tidal to Square.

He was declared the first billionaire of hip-hop back in 2019.

Jay-Z also does plenty of investing with his Marcy Venture Partners, which raised an $85 million fund in 2019.
