Diego Boneta Joins the Cast of the 'Father of the Bride' Remake

Diego Boneta is taking on an exciting new role!

THR reports that the 30-year-old Monster Hunter actor has joined the cast of the upcoming Father of the Bride remake.

Andy Garcia, Gloria Estefan, Adria Arjona and Isabela Merced are also set to star in the upcoming movie.

The remake will follow the blueprint set in the original Father of the Bride movie starring Spencer Tracy from 1950 and beloved Steven Martin remake from 1991, but will be told through the multiple relationships within a large Cuban-American family.

The movie being directed by Gaz Alazraki and is set to start production this month.

Diego will play the groom in the film, with Adria Arjona playing his bride-to-be and Andy Garcia and Gloria Estefan playing his future in-laws.
