Jonah Hill To Play Legendary Hollywood Fixer Sidney Korshak in New Limited Series

Jonah Hill has joined an upcoming limited series which will see him portray legendary “Hollywood Fixer” Sidney Korshak.

Deadline reports that the 37-year-old actor has teamed up with William Monahan for the series that will be shopped around.

The story for the limited series will focus on Sidney Korshak and Lew Wasserman, who was the MCA chairman and the most powerful man in Hollywood.

Wasserman was the visionary who in the 1940s liberated actors from film studio control by creating the modern talent agency, and then straddled both lines until the government made him choose and Wasserman shed talent representation for producing.

Wasserman’s empire building was abetted by Korshak, an attorney now famous for providing a bridge between organized crime and Hollywood.

Jonah, along with his Strong Baby partners Matt Dines and Ali Goodwin, will Executive Produce, as well as LBI/Expanded Media and William.

Just recently, Jonah spoke out about why he’s okay with going shirtless in public.
