Billy Porter & MJ Rodriguez Attend 'Pose' Drive-In Event at Rose Bowl!

Billy Porter and MJ Rodriguez are bringing Pose to the people.

The stars were in attendance at a special drive-in screening and panel on Saturday (June 5) at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif.

The event featured a screening of Season 3, Episode 7 (the Series Finale), as well as a live conversation with co-creator Steven Canals, MJ and Billy, with special performances by MJ and Billy. Euphoria‘s Hunter Schafer was also in attendance at the event.

There’s also some big news for the Pose stars: Peacock is developing a script for a drama with Billy Porter that explores a Black family’s multi-generational imprint in Hollywood, called Fruits of Thy Labor. Get the details!

MJ, going by Michaela Jaé for her music, released her first single “Something To Say,” a celebratory anthem written with PWP (comprised of Verdine White of Earth, Wind, and Fire, Neal Pogue and John Paris).

The Pose premiere party also made headlines at the end of April because of a speech that went viral.
