Kathy Hilton Says She'll Never Do This on 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'

Kathy Hilton is opening up about her time on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!

The 62-year-old finally joined the cast in the Bravo series’ current 11th season in a part time role, alongside her sister Kyle Richards.

In a new interview, Kathy dished on why she decided to finally join the cast, and what her future on the show holds.

Kathy told ET that she finally said yes out of boredom due to the pandemic, and she “jumped at the chance” to spend time with her sister Kyle.

“It’s like a girls’ club,” she said of the show. “I feel like I’m a member of a very special group of dynamic women — that have their drama — and I love to be in the middle of it.”

Kathy did say that she’s loving the reactions from fans, but she sometimes can’t watch herself.

“I am really flattered and very happy,” Kathy shared. “Any time anybody’s ever seen me on TV, there is this very serious side … and so, [with Housewives], I’m comfortable, because I go back with Lisa Rinna for 25 years. I know Dorit [Kemsley] and socially we’ve been together many times, so I’m very comfortable with her. Garcelle [Beauvais], we’ve been out socially. Kyle is my sister. I was just very comfortable. But it was really interesting for me to watch. Sometimes, I can’t watch because I’ll think, ‘Oh, my goodness, I have no makeup on, how can I really let people see me like this?’ You know?”

As for if she’ll return for season 12, she said, “We’ll see,” and added that she would never become a full time housewife.

“I will never hold a diamond, ever, that I can tell you,” Kathy said. “I have a lot on my plate right now and working on some interesting, exciting things. I wouldn’t have time.”

She also shared that she’s not sure if she’ll be at the reunion, but “would love to… experience that.”
