Willow Smith & Avril Lavigne Team Up For A New Music Video

Willow Smith and Avril Lavigne share a laugh together while heading to the set of their upcoming music video in Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon (June 15).

The two musicians both rocked some eye catching outfits for the video shoot, and also collaborated on the script for the visual that will be released for Willow‘s forthcoming album.

Speaking to V Magazine earlier this year, Willow explained that she was going “to be having a lot more features on this album. On my previous albums, I was in the studio by myself a lot. It was a very insular process for this album. I wanted to open myself up a little bit more and not just be so anti-social in the studio.”

She added about getting Avril on one of them was a dream come true.

“I’m so excited that I’m going to be having a song on the album with Avril Lavigne,” Willow shared. “She is so iconic. From [ages] 13 to 16, she was my idol. It’s really nice to be able to have a quintessential pop-punk record with the pop-punk queen.”
