Jared Padalecki Is 'Gutted' by Jensen Ackles' 'Supernatural' Spin-Off News, Says He Learned About It on Twitter

Jared Padalecki just learned about the upcoming Supernatural spin-off series… at the same time as everyone else.

Jensen Ackles is developing a spin-off series called The Winchesters, which will follow the love story between Dean and Sam’s parents. He is going to be the narrator of the upcoming The CW series.

Well, no one told Jared about the show and he’s “gutted” that he learned about it at the same time as fans. He’s also upset that his character Sam Winchester will not be involved.

Jared retweeted Jensen‘s tweet about the news and said, “Dude. Happy for you. Wish I heard about this some way other than Twitter. I’m excited to watch, but bummed that Sam Winchester had no involvement whatsoever.”

A fan responded, “this has GOTTA be a bad joke hello @jarpad @JensenAckles this ain’t it sirs we’re freaking out.”

Jared then responded to that fan and said, “No. It’s not. This is the first I’ve heard about it. I’m gutted.
