Taye Diggs Actually Knew a Contestant from His 'Celebrity Dating Game' Episode!

Taye Diggs was one of the celebrity guests on the latest episode of ABC’s reboot of The Celebrity Dating Game and a funny coincidence happened!

At the end of the night when it was time for Taye to meet the three mystery women, he realized he knew one of the women.

It seems that producers likely were unaware of Taye‘s connection to the woman as host Zooey Deschanel was surprised by the moment as well!

The woman who Taye knew is named Arielle Caputo and she’s the office manager for Scooter Braun‘s management company SB Projects. She was the first one to correctly guess his identity and she figured it out after the first round because she recognized his voice. She wasn’t the one he picked though!

After they saw each other at the end of the episode, Taye was asked how they knew each other. He said it’s a “long story.”

For those who don’t know, Scooter is the manager of Taye‘s ex-wife Idina Menzel.

Just last weekend, Taye was spotted on a dinner date with someone else!
