Jude Law's Model Daughter Iris Debuts Shocking & 'Liberating' New Haircut!

Iris Law is showing off her bold, new look!

The 20-year-old model and actress, who is also the daughter of Jude Law, took to her TikTok on Thursday (July 1) to reveal her shocking new haircut.

In the video, Iris is first sporting long brown hair, before revealing it’s a wig and taking it off to show off her newly shaved head.

Iris also debuted her shaved head in the latest issue of British Vogue.

In the article, Iris said that she decided to shave off her hair for her role as punk icon Soo Catwoman, who was known for her short hair with black sides to look like cat ears, in FX’s upcoming series Pistols.

The series, which is Iris’ first acting role, is about the Sex Pistols and is based on guitarist Steve Jones‘ memoir Lonely Boy: Tales from a Sex Pistol. Maisie Williams also stars in the miniseries.

“What if I have to shave my hair?” Iris recalled thinking after landing the part. She then said that “when the wig became a possibility, I was almost disappointed that I didn’t have to.”

Iris then decided to take the plunge and voluntarily shaved off her long, brown hair.

“I wanted to do something that felt liberating,” Iris said. “The day I shaved my head, I changed my life. I’ve never done anything like that before.”

“I looked in the mirror and thought it was going to be emotional but it wasn’t. It felt so positive,” Iris said, adding, “I’m just so confident in it that I don’t care” what other people think.
