Reese Witherspoon's Hello Sunshine Media Company Currently Exploring a Sale

Reese Witherspoon might be selling her media company, Hello Sunshine, according to a new report.

The 45-year-old actress and producer formed the company in 2016 with partners Seth Rodsky and husband and former CAA agent Jim Toth.

Hello Sunshine was founded as part of a joint venture with AT&T and they still hold a minority stake through its ownership of Otter Media.

Now, according to Wall Street Journal, the company has been approached by suitors and is evaluating its options.

One of the suitors included Apple.

People “close to the situation” are saying that the company could be valued at as much as $1 billion in a deal.

The company’s productions include Big Little Lies, The Morning Show, and Little Fires Everywhere, which Reese all stars in.

Some of the upcoming titles are Amazon’s Daisy Jones and the Six and the big-screen adaptation of Where the Crawdads Sing.
