'Black Widow' Could Make Over $90 Million At The Box Office, Industry Predicts
Black Widow might be making major bank at the box office for opening weekend.
In a new report from Deadline, the Scarlett Johansson-led Marvel movie brought in $13.2 million for Thursday (July 8) previews, and industry experts are now saying that they expect a full Friday gross in $40 million range and a weekend gross that could exceed $90 million.
Many predictions are saying that the film, also starring Florence Pugh, Rachel Weisz and David Harbour, will land in the mid-$80 million range over the weekend.
Black Widow is set just after Captain America: Civil War, and centers on Natasha Romanoff as she confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises.
