Elizabeth Olsen Dishes On The Connection Between 'WandaVision' & 'Doctor Strange' In A New Interview

Elizabeth Olsen is opening up about the connection between WandaVision and the upcoming sequel to Doctor Strange.

In a new interview, the 32-year-old actress explained that without the hit Disney+ series, Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness wouldn’t make any sense to Marvel fans.

While Marvel boss Kevin Feige has previously said that he wants fans who are just tuning into the MCU, not to have needed to watch WandaVision at all, it seems Elizabeth disagrees.

Especially when it comes to Wanda.

“Without WandaVision, Doctor Strange wouldn’t make sense,” she shared with TheWrap.

Elizabeth added that she felt “it fully leads into where we find her. It feels totally connected to the series.”

The Doctor Strange connection to WandaVision was revealed early on, as many fans expected Benedict Cumberbatch to even make a cameo in the series finale. However, it didn’t happen for this reason.

Filming now, Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness is expected to debut on March 25, 2022.
