John Cameron Mitchell is getting into character!

The 58-year-old Hedwig and the Angry Inch star was spotted on set filming the upcoming TV series on Friday (July 16) in Brisbane, Autralia.

John Cameron Mitchell was seen in character as Joe Exotic in the upcoming limited series. Kate McKinnon is set to play Carole Baskin.

“I’m thrilled to take on the role of this modern folk antihero. Joe and I are the same age and like him, I grew up queer in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas so I feel like I know a little bit about this guy and his desperate attempt to conquer an inhospitable world,” John previously said in a statement.
