Frances McDormand Loses Her Oscar, But Is Reunited with It!

Frances McDormand had a little bit of a scare after she misplaced her Oscar at the Governors Ball on Sunday night (March 4) in Hollywood.

The Best Actress winner reportedly was spotted “crying emotionally” outside the after party following a search for the missing Oscar.

Frances thankfully misplaced the trophy after it had already been engraved with her name as security eventually found it and she was reunited with the award.

Fran and Oscar are happily reunited and are enjoying an In-N-Out burger together,” a rep for the actress told USA Today.

Frances won Best Actress for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and Sam won Best Supporting Actor for the same film. Gary took home Best Actor for Darkest Hour and Allison won Best Supporting Actress for I, Tonya.

Frances McDormand Explains What an 'Inclusion Rider' is Backstage at Oscars 2018 (Video)

Frances McDormand ended her speech at the 2018 Academy Awards by saying, “Two words: inclusion rider.” Now, she’s explaining what she meant.

The two-time Oscar-winner opened up in the press room backstage after the show on Sunday night (March 4) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

“To everyone that does a negotiation on a film, an inclusion rider means that you can ask for and/or demand at least 50% diversity in not only in casting but also the crew,” Frances said. “The fact that I’ve just learned that after 35 years of being in the film business, we’re not going back.”

“The whole idea of women ‘trending?’ No. No trending. African-Americans ‘trending?’ No. No trending, it changes now. And I think the inclusion rider will have something to do with that. Power in rules,” she added.

One moment from the Oscars that you didn’t see on television was when the four women who lost in the Best Actress category gathered for a group hug after Frances McDormand‘s win!

The four actresses – Meryl Streep, Margot Robbie, Saoirse Ronan, and Sally Hawkins – shared the moment near the end of the 2018 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (March 4) in Hollywood.

During her speech, Frances asked all of the female nominees, in every category, to stand up for a moment of recognition.

After accepting the award, Frances joined the women in the audience to share some hugs as well!

Oscars 2018: Jet Ski Winner is Costume Designer Mark Bridges!

Helen Mirren is ushered on stage on a jet ski at the end of the show at the 2018 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (March 4) in Hollywood.

The Oscar-winning actress was joined by Best Costume Design winner Mark Bridges, who gave the shortest speech of the night and won the jet ski from host Jimmy Kimmel!

Bridges received a 2018 Kawasaki Jet Ski Ultra 310LX that is valued at about $18,000, according to EW.

Rules were placed on monitors inside the Dolby Theatre and they said if two people tied for the win, the two people would split the cash value of the jet ski!

FYI: Mark is wearing Brioni bespoke, an Anto shirt bespoke and the House of Woodstock Pope Bishop socks from the film.

Warren Beatty & Faye Dunaway Redeem Themselves at Oscars 2018, Present Best Picture Again!

Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway step out on stage to present the final award of the night at the 2018 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (March 4) in Hollywood.

The legendary actors presented the award for Best Picture for the second year in a row after famously announcing the wrong winner at last year’s show!

This year, the producers had the correct envelope for Best Picture placed on a special podium backstage to make sure it was the right one given to the presenters. A whole process was also put in place to ensure the correct winners were announced.

The award for Best Picture went to The Shape of Water and director Guillermo Del Toro made sure to look inside the envelope to make sure he actually was the winner before giving his speech!

Jennifer Lawrence and Jodie Foster appear on stage together to present the award for Best Actress at the 2018 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (March 4) in Hollywood.

Jodie walked onto the stage with the assistance of crutches and Jennifer kicked off their segment by asking what happened.

Streep. She I, Tonya‘ed me. But you know, I prefer not to discuss it,” Jodie joked. Jen replied, “You know, she tripped me once.”

They joked that they couldn’t talk about it any further for “legal reasons” and then Jennifer said, “She’s always so nice at the luncheons.” Jodie quipped, “She’s acting.”
