Ngoc Trinh is facing a possible fine for her revealing outfit, which she wore at 2019 Cannes Film Festival in May in Cannes, France.

The 29-year-old Vietnamese model wore a glittering, sheer outfit to the film festival, which has sparked controversy in her home country of Vietnam.

“She is not an artist that the ministry sent to the event. Her outfit was improper, offensive and has caused public outrage,” said Nguyen Ngoc Thien, the country’s Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, to the National Assembly session in Hanoi.

He reportedly ordered officials to investigate Ngoc under public decency laws, which could result in a fine.

Vietnam imposes fines on people – mostly celebrities – wearing revealing clothes in public places, according to the VnExpress.

Elle Fanning looks stunning while walking the red carpet for the closing ceremony of the 2019 Cannes Film Festival on Saturday (May 25) in Cannes, France.

The 21-year-old actress had a princess moment while joining her fellow festival jury members for the final event of this year’s festival.

During the event, the jury announced the winners of this year’s festival prizes, including the coveted Palme d’Or award.

Antonio Banderas and Emily Beecham accept their awards on stage during the closing ceremony of the 2019 Cannes Film Festival on Saturday (May 25) in Cannes, France.

The Palme d’Or award, which is essentially the Best Picture prize, went to director Bong Joon-ho‘s movie Parasite.

Antonio won Best Actor for his work in the film Pain and Glory while Emily picked up Best Actress for Little Joe.

There was a tie for the Jury Prize. The award went to the politically charged films Les Miserables and Bacurau.

Antonio was joined at the event by his girlfriend Nicole Kimpel.

Elsa Hosk and Shanina Shaik stun on the red carpet at the premiere screening of Sibyl held during the 2019 Cannes Film Festival on Friday (May 24) in Cannes, France.

This is the final red carpet event for the two models during the festival this year and they both brought some great fashion!

Sylvester Stallone is joined by his wife Jennifer Flavin and their daughter Sistine at the screening of Rambo – First Blood on Friday (May 24) in Cannes, France.

A screening of the classic film was held during the 2019 Cannes Film Festival and the trailer for the upcoming Rambo V: Last Blood was also shown. Sylvester, who was honored with a career retrospective, was joined by co-star Paz Vega to debut the footage.

Earlier in the day, Sylvester and Paz attended a photo call together.

Kendall Jenner and Stella Maxwell chat on stage during the 2019 amfAR Cannes Gala auction at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on Thursday evening (May 23) in Cap d’Antibes, France.

The two models, along with Jordan Barrett, walked in the signature fashion show at the event.

According to Variety, all of the model’s looks were auctioned off for about one million euros – which translates to $28,000 each.
