John Oliver admitted he spent 2020 “demanding that Adam Driver demolish me, crush my larynx, you unwieldy boulder” and Adam Driver finally got in on the joke on last night’s episode of Last Week Tonight on HBO.

“Listen to me, what the f*ck are you doing? This bit? This bit, this thing you’ve been doing that’s either sexual or violent,” Adam said to John in a FaceTime call. “This strange, strange bit that for some reason you’ve pulled me into. What is it? When you first started doing it, it was easy for me to shrug it off. But then it kept going on, and on, and on, and on. Stop talking. Do you realize, over this past year, what you’ve asked me to do to you?”

Adam continued, “You realize we’re strangers, right? I don’t know you. And now, random people on the internet stan us. I’m sick of people stopping me on the street and asking me if I’m going to punch a hole in you like a Marriage Story wall. And you know what? You should be ashamed of yourself, because you know this was inappropriate.” Watch the clip!

The upcoming Gucci movie starring Lady Gaga has just added so many exciting stars to the cast!

The Oscar-winning performer is set to play Maurizio Gucci’s ex-wife Patrizia Reggiani, who “was tried and convicted of orchestrating his assassination on the steps of his office in 1995,” according to Deadline.

Patrizia served 18 years in jail and was released in 2016.

Adam Driver, Jared Leto, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Jack Huston, and Reeve Carney are all in talks to join the cast of the film, which will be directed by Ridley Scott.

Gaga, Jared, Al, and Robert are all Oscar winners, so this is film is definitely going to generate a lot of awards buzz!

People have been trying to “cancel” Adam Driver over comments that he made about joining the Marines. Some are calling him “Islamophobic,” but this isn’t true.

Adam told The New Yorker last year that he joined the Marines after 9/11 because he wanted to fight against the terrorists who attacked the U.S.

“It wasn’t against Muslims,” he said. “It was: We were attacked. I want to fight for my country against whoever that is.”

Without even looking at the actual quotes, people have been attacking Adam. There are many others who are defending him though and fans are directing the haters to go watch his movie The Report, in which he exposed the CIA’s use of torture following 9/11.

Ben Affleck is speaking out about a wonderful gesture from Adam Driver!

The Triple Frontier actor made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday night (March 3).

During his appearance, Ben revealed that Adam sent his 8-year-old son Samuel a handful of Star Wars toys for his birthday, along with a signed card, picture and video from “Kylo Ren.”

“It was an incredibly moving and powerful moment,” Ben said.

“Adam made me a hero to my kid. And I will never, ever, ever, forget it. It’s a really good lesson in doing those small gestures of kindness, because you have no idea. For [Adam], he’s like, ‘Yeah, send the Kylo Ren doll and the Kylo Ren LEGO and the picture of Kylo Ren signed by Kylo Ren.’ But it meant the f—king world to [Samuel]. So much.”

He also got adorably giddy about his friendship with Tom Brady, and opened up about his love for the New England Patriots football player.

Adam Driver and Matt Damon are filming scenes for their new movie together!

The 36-year-old Star Wars actor and the 49-year-old Ford v Ferrari actor were seen filming alongside numerous extras on Wednesday (February 19) in Sarlat, France.

The historical period drama is based on the book The Last Duel: A True Story of Trial by Combat in Medieval France, and tells the story of former best friends Jean de Carrouges (Damon) and Jacques Le Gris (Driver) who are ordered to fight to the death after Carrouges accuses Le Gris of raping his wife in 14th-century France.

The 36-year-old Marriage Story actor and his wife hit the red carpet at the event held on Sunday (February 9) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Adam is up for Best Actor for his work as Charlie Barber in the film.

For the second year in a row, the Oscars will be presented without a host. Joker leads the pack with 11 nominations and Grammy winner Billie Eilish is set to give a special performance.
