Adam Driver is reprising Kylo Ren on Saturday Night Live!

While hosting SNL, the 23-year-old actor took part in an Undercover Boss sketch where his Star Wars character dresses in disguise as intern Randy to become a better boss.

“I’ll say it: I haven’t been the best boss lately,” Adam as Kylo Ren said. “I’ve been a little distracted by some personal drama.”

“Randy” then tries to become friends with the fellow interns calling them “boomers” before messing up doing intern things like ordering drinks, breaking printers, and unfortunately ends up killing a friend.

“I made four new friends and only killed one of them,” Adam as Kylo says. “I’d say that’s a pretty good start.”

Adam Driver might play a characters with big emotions, but deep down he’s just a normal guy.

The 36-year-old Oscar-nominated actor hosted Saturday Night Live on Saturday (January 25) and in his opening monologue, Adam tried to prove that he’s “actually very chill.”

“I’m not an intense guy, I’m very chill!” Adam says. He then goes on to say that he hates doing red carpet appearances because he’s bad at smiling.

“I look like a kidnapped person trying to send a message with my eyes,” Adam says before stating awkwardly into the camera.

Adam then concludes his monologue by saying, “I’m in a movie with Scarlett Johansson, so I’ve basically kissed Colin Jost.”

The 45-year-old Joker star – who won Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role – gave a special shout-out to the late Dark Knight actor on Sunday (January 19) at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

“I’m standing here on the shoulders of my favorite actor, Heath Ledger,” Joaquin said. They both played the Joker!

Joaquin beat out Christian Bale (Ford v Ferrari), Leonardo DiCaprio (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), Adam Driver (Marriage Story), and Taron Egerton (Rocketman), and he also made sure to pay tribute to them during his speech.

“When I started acting again…going to auditions, I always got the final callback,” Joaquin said. “Many people know what that’s like. There would be, like, two other guys I was up against. We would always lose to this one kid. No actor would ever say his name because it was like too much. But every casting director would say it’s Leonardo. Who is this Leonardo? You know? You’ve been an inspiration for over 25 years to me and so many people. I thank you very very, very much.”

He then asked Christian to “suck just once” during his career: “You commit to your roles in ways that I can only dream of. You never turn in a bad performance. It’s infuriating. I wish you would. One time. Just suck once. It would be great.”

To Adam, Joaquin said, “I’ve been watching you the last few years and you’ve just been turning in these beautiful nuanced, incredible, profound performances, and I’m just moved by you, and you were devastating in this film. And you should be here.”

Finally, to Taron, he remarked, “You’re so beautiful in this movie. And I’m so happy for you. And I can’t wait to see what else you do.”

Adam Driver makes a solo trip down the red carpet while arriving at the 2020 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday (January 19) at the Shine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

The 36-year-old actor kept things cool and handsome in a black tux as he stepped out for the awards show.

Adam is nominated tonight for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role in a Motion Picture for his role in Marriage Story.

Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver were going to be honored together at the 2019 Santa Barbara International Film Festival, but she was unable to attend the event at the last minute.

Only Adam was there to accept the honor at the film festival event on Friday (January 17) at the Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara, Calif.

Scarlett and Adam were honored with the Outstanding Performers of the Year award for their work in Marriage Story.

“I am so saddened that I can not be here with you this evening. An hour and a half ago, I became violently ill right as I was about to leave the Miramar hotel for the theater. I was so looking forward to accepting this incredible honor in person, and to not be here on stage with Adam is deeply disappointing, to say the least,” Scarlett said in a note that was read aloud at the event.

During his acceptance speech, Adam said, “Acting to me is many things. It’s a craft. It’s a political act. Unfortunately, it’s a business, and it’s a service. I think acting is a service industry. I’m there in service of the director, the actors and the crew, and the story overall, which is more important. I very much believe in that. I believe in the potential effect of great collaboration.

The 36-year-old Marriage Story actor hit the red carpet at the event held on Sunday (January 5) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

He was joined by his wife Joanne Tucker, sporting a hot pink gown.

Adam is nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for his work as Charlie Barber in the film.

Adam Driver shows off his trophy at the 2020 Australian Academy Of Cinema And Television Arts International Awards held at SkyBar at the Mondrian Los Angeles on Friday night (January 3) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 36-year-old actor won the award for Best Actor for his work in the movie Marriage Story.

More winners included Parasite for Best Film, which was accepted by director Bong Joon-Ho and actor Song Kang-Ho, as well as Once Upon a Time in Hollywood‘s Quentin Tarantino for Best Director and Jojo Rabbit‘s Taika Waititi for Best Screenplay.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood‘s Brad Pitt and Bombshell‘s Margot Robbie won Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress, though they weren’t in attendance.
