On getting cast in a Saw movie: “I was at a friend’s wedding in Brazil, and a very high powered wedding… my man Guy Oseary, so U2’s there, Madonna’s there, Zuckerbergs, whatever…and the head of Lionsgate was there. So I had some time with the head of Lionsgate. So I immediately go, okay, what does Lionsgate have that I can f–k with? I was like, oh, okay, Twilight. Nah. Game of Thrones? Nah. Saw? I can get in there. And I just posed a question to the head of Lionsgate. Do you ever think about putting somebody funny in one of those movies? You can do it without messing up the integrity of the movie. I didn’t want to make Scary Movie like Wayan Brothers, which I loved by the way.”

IHOP has announced an awesome event in response to the viral tweet that Adam Sandler sent out this week!

It all started when a TikTok video went viral showing that Adam decided not to eat at an IHOP restaurant in Long Island after he found out that the wait-time was 30 minutes long.

Adam then tweeted out, “For the record, I only left the IHOP because the nice woman told me the all-you-can-eat deal didn’t apply to the milkshakes.”

Well, IHOP is making sure that Adam gets what he wants.

Adam Sandler went viral last week when an IHOP hostess leaked security cam footage that showed him leaving the restaurant when he learned the long wait time.

“Pleaseee come back,” 17-year-old TikTok user Dayanna Rodas captioned the video. “Not realizing its Adam Sandler and telling him its a 30min wait and him ofc leaving bc hes not going to wait 30mins for IHOP.”

Dayanna Rodas, 17, an employee at a Long Island, New York International House of Pancakes (aka IHOP) did not realize she turned a celebrity away from the establishment due to a long wait.

She posted about the incident, and shared security footage of her speaking to the star.

Carey Mulligan has landed her next role!

The Oscar-nominated actress will be starring alongside Adam Sandler in the upcoming Netflix movie Spaceman, which is based on a novel by Jaroslav Kalfar.

Deadline reports that the movie follows “an astronaut (Sandler) sent to the edge of the galaxy to collect mysterious ancient dust. He soon finds his earthly life falling to pieces, and he turns to the only voice who can help him try to put it back together. It just so happens to belong to a creature from the beginning of time lurking in the shadows of his ship.”

Carey will be playing the wife of Adam‘s character.

Johan Renck, who directed the Emmy-winning series Chernobyl, will be directing the film and Channing Tatum is one of the producers.

One of the golfers at The Masters looks eerily similar to the caddy in Happy Gilmore, and many are taking notice, even Adam Sandler!

Will Zalatoris is currently placed second in the prestigious golf tournament and showing off that he already knows that the Happy Gilmore comparisons would come around.

In fact, he even has one of the movie lines engraved on his wedge: “Mr. Gilmore, I’m Your Caddy”.

Will explained in the social media video that he was “embracing” the comparisons as “a lot of people think I look like Mr. Gilmore’s caddie, so I put that on my wedge.”

After picking up on the comparisons online, Adam reacted to them on his Twitter.

Along with a few pictures from the movie, and one with Will‘s blonde hair blown back, he wrote, “Have fun today young man. Mr. Gilmore is watching you and very proud.”

The caddy in the movie was played by Jared Van Snellenberg.

Adam Sandler is celebrating the anniversary of Happy Gilmore in the most fitting way.

The 54-year-old actor, who played the title character in the golf movie, honored the 25th anniversary by hitting the course with his club on the green.

“Shooter McGavin, this is for you,” Adam said, calling out Christopher McDonald who played Shooter in the movie, as the two had a heavy rivalry inside the flick.

“I’m not lying to you. That is smashed. Smashed. That went pretty well. You’re dead, Shooter!” Adam added.

After the video went viral, Christopher made his own tribute to the movie and showed Adam his own golf skills from his living room.

“Nice drive, Gilmore! 25 years, huh? Let’s see if it’s Shooter’s tour. Check it out. Oh, yeah. It’s all about the short game,” he said before putting the ball into a clear jar on the floor.

“Money!” he celebrated. “Shooter’s still got it!”

Ben Stiller, who played Hal in the flick, also gave the movie a shoutout.
