Johnny Galecki and his girlfriend Alaina Meyer have split up after they were first linked in 2018.

The 45-year-old Big Bang Theory actor and his 23-year-old girlfriend have one child together, a son named Avery who was born in late 2019 and just celebrated his birthday last week. A source told People that the pair have gone their separate ways but are co-parenting their child.

The first time we spotted the couple together was back in September of 2018. The last social media post that Alaina posted that featured Johnny was from back in April on Easter. It’s unclear when they actually ended their relationship.

At this time, neither Alaina nor Johnny has made a public statement about their breakup. Stay tuned as we learn more.

The couple welcomed a baby boy into the world, and announced the news on Instagram.

“With full and grateful hearts we welcome our beautiful son into this incredible world. Thank you for all of your love and support,” Johnny, 44, posted on his Instagram.

Johnny and Alaina, 22, were first linked back in September of 2018. They revealed their pregnancy news back in May of 2019.

The two first went public with their relationship back in September of 2018.

“We are absolutely over the moon to announce that we will soon be welcoming a little one into this crazy and wonderful world. We ask that you please respect our privacy during this celebratory time for us and our families. There truly is love out there for all. We hope ours is the ember of yours, as we feel yours is the ember of ours,” they said in a statement.

Kaley Cuoco happily hits the red carpet alongside her husband Karl Cook at The Big Bang Theory series finale party held at The Langham Huntington on Tuesday (May 1) in Pasadena, Calif.

The 33-year-old actress was also joined at the event by her co-stars Jim Parsons, Mayim Bialik, Johnny Galecki and his girlfriend Alaina Meyer, Kunal Nayyar and his wife Neha Nayyar, Simon Helberg and his wife Jocelyn Towne, Melissa Rauch and Kate Micucci.

It started with reading that initial script, and then last night shooting it in front of the audience, and this morning with the hands at Mann’s Chinese [Theatre]. It’s just been a beautiful tribute to our show. I don’t know, I just feel so grateful. It’s been a gift, a gift of 12 years.”

The Big Bang Theory‘s two-part finale airs Thursday, May 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS!

The actor is dating Alaina Meyer, 21, and they were photographed going to a pre-Emmys party in Los Angeles together.

He also posted a photo from the night to his Instagram account of him and Alaina, writing, “Last night was wonderful. Thank you.”

They’ve both made their relationship Instagram official in the past two months, thought it’s unclear when they started dating. It also looks like they have tattooed each others’ initials on their arms!
