'Silicon Valley' Will End After Season 6 - See Thomas Middleditch's Reaction

Silicon Valley is coming to an end.

The HBO comedy series will wrap up following its sixth season, Variety reports.

The final season will feature an abbreviated seven-episode run – the shortest season yet.

Silcon Valley is currently in pre-production and is will premiere later this year.

Silicon Valley has been a career and life highlight for us,” co-showrunners and executive producers Alec Berg and Mike Judge said. “We’ll miss it desperately, but we’ve always let Pied Piper’s journey guide the way, and Season 6 seems to be the fitting conclusion. We are forever indebted to our incredible cast, crew, and partners at HBO. At a certain point, there’s only so much we can do to make the world a better place.”

The series follows the struggle of Richard Hendricks (Thomas Middleditch), a Silicon Valley engineer trying to build his own company called Pied Piper. It also stars Josh Brener, T.J. Miller, Martin Starr, Zach Woods, Kumail Nanjiani, Amanda Crew, Jimmy O. Yang, Suzanne Cryer, and Matt Ross.

Bill Hader Suits Up at the Premiere of 'Barry'!

Bill Hader is looking sharp on the red carpet!

The 39-year-old actor attended the premiere of HBO’s Barry at NeueHouse Hollywood on Wednesday evening (March 21) in Los Angeles.

Bill posed alongside his co-stars Henry Winkler and Sarah Goldberg on the red carpet.

Stephen Root, D’Arcy Carden, Alec Berg and Glenn Fleshler also hit the red carpet at the event.

The series, which premieres on Sunday (March 25), is about a hit man from the Midwest who moves to Los Angeles and gets caught up in the city’s theater arts scene.

'Silicon Valley' Previews Upcoming Fifth Season at PaleyFest

Kumail Nanjiani, Amanda Crew, Martin Starr, Thomas Middleditch, and Zach Woods hit the carpet at the PaleyFest panel for Silicon Valley on Sunday (March 18) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

The stars of the HBO comedy series were joined by executive producers Mike Judge and Alec Berg.

Silicon Valley‘s upcoming fifth season will be premiering this Sunday, March 25. Series regular T.J. Miller will not be returning for the upcoming season and the cast recently opened up about his exit from the series.
