Alek Skarlatos and his new partner for this week Emma Slater hit the dance floor for Dancing With the Stars on Monday night (October 12) in Hollywood.
The pair danced their best Rumba and got a total score of 29 out of 40 from the judges this evening! Alek normally dances with Lindsay Arnold, but this week is partner switch-up week.
It was reported that Alek broke his nose just hours ago, but he danced like a total pro despite the injury.

Dancing with the Stars competitor Alek Skarlatos broke his nose on Monday (October 12) while in rehearsals for tonight’s show.
The 23-year-old French train terror attack hero was practicing with his pro partner Emma Slater when she elbowed him in the face by accident, TMZ reports.
Medics went to the rehearsal studio and the early diagnosis is broken nose, though they need to do x-rays to confirm. There’s no word as to his status for tonight’s Dancing with the Stars.

Alek Skarlatos tapes an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday (October 1) in Los Angeles.
The 22-year-old train hero and Dancing With the Stars contestant, who was joined by partner Lindsay Arnold, refrained from dancing on the episode out of respect for the UCC school shooting victims in Oregon.
Alek is actually a student at the community college and he would have been there today if he wasn’t on Dancing With the Stars.
“I had classes in Snyder Hall. I mean, it’s a fairly small Community College and just the town in general everybody knows each other so with that many deceased I mean everybody’s going to know at least one person,” Alek said. “I would have been there today if I didn’t agree to do this show. I had classes picked out and everything.”
