Alicia Keys Delivers An Amazing Medley Performance at BBMAs 2021!

Alicia Keys is tossing her hat away without a care in the world during her performance at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards held at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday (May 23) in Los Angeles.

The 40-year-old songstress’s performance was introduced by Michelle Obama and Alicia combined three of her hottest songs from her Songs in A Minor album: “A Woman’s Worth”, “How Come You Don’t Call Me,” and “Fallin.’”

The album was nominated for R&B/Hip-Hop Album of the Year in 2001.

Alicia‘s performance medley celebrated the 10th anniversary of the album.

Alicia Keys Goes Pink For Billboard Music Awards 2021

Alicia Keys is pretty in three piece pink ensemble while arriving at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards held at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday (May 23) in Los Angeles.

The 40-year-old musician will be taking the stage later tonight for a highly-anticipated performance of a Songs in A Minor medley, which celebrate the 20th anniversary of the album’s release.

The album produced many hits, including “Piano & I”, “Girlfriend”, “Fallin’” and “Rock wit U”.

Alicia‘s performance will be introduced by former First Lady, Michelle Obama.

Hosted by Nick Jonas, the 2021 Billboard Music Awards will air tonight, May 23 at 8/7c on NBC.

Alicia Keys Reveals What Has Made Her 'Become a Better Mother'

Alicia Keys is opening up about motherhood.

In an op-ed published by USA Today, the 40-year-old entertainer talked about starting a new hobby following the birth of her youngest son Genesis, now 6, to help her stay calm amid her busy life.

“Like so many new moms I was exhausted, but the depletion was more than physiological; my spirit was shot,” Alicia recalled. “I needed to do something so I could continue to be a good mother to my children, partner to my husband, and friend to myself.”

Alicia Keys‘ performance of the classic song “Lift Every Voice and Sing” aired during the 2021 Super Bowl pre-game show!

The performance was originally aired by the NFL back in September 2020 and there was a narration from actor Anthony Mackie.

If you didn’t know, “Lift Every Voice and Sing” is a poem that was written in 1900 by James Weldon Johnson to celebrate the birthday of Abraham Lincoln. The poem was set to music by James’ brother and the song was adopted as the “Negro National Anthem” by the NAACP over a hundred years ago.

“Lift every voice and sing, Till earth and heaven ring, Ring with the harmonies of Liberty, Let our rejoicing rise,” the song begins.
