Alisha Wainwright was involved in a big controversy during the filming of her new movie Palmer and now she’s opening up about her time on set.

The 31-year-old actress was photographed holding hands with her co-star Justin Timberlake during a night out with cast and crew in New Orleans.

Justin released a statement weeks after the photos emerged and apologized to wife Jessica Biel and his family for his actions that evening. He also confirmed that nothing happened between him and Alisha.

Despite what happened in the media, Alisha has nothing but praise for Justin.

“This guy is a megastar, and he’s one of the most recognizable faces,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “I thought he was incredible in this movie.”

“You’d be surprised how someone is in character. You can take away all the noise and just focus on what’s in front of you like, ‘Let’s make a movie,’” she added.

Palmer helped Apple TV+ achieve a pretty impressive accomplishment last weekend.

The 33-year-old Tony-award winning actress donned a pretty purple dress while the 52-year-old Oscar-winning actor looked sharp in a black tux for the awards event.

Netflix has announced their first renewal of 2020 – Raising Dion!

If you don’t know, Raising Dion follows the story of a woman named Nicole (Alisha Wainwright), who raises her son Dion (Ja’Siah Young) after the death of her husband, Mark (Michael B. Jordan). The normal dramas of raising a son as a single mom are amplified when Dion starts to manifest several mysterious, superhero-like abilities. Nicole must now keep her son’s gifts secret with the help of Mark’s best friend Pat (Jason Ritter), and protect Dion from antagonists out to exploit him while figuring out the origin of his abilities.

Netflix tells us that production on the second season will kick off in 2020.

Jessica Biel reportedly urged Justin Timberlake to issue a public apology following his and Alisha Wainwright‘s PDA scandal.

The 37-year-old Limetown actress’s husband, 38, was spotted holding hands with his Palmer co-star.

“Jessica encouraged Justin to put out his statement on Instagram because she felt embarrassed by his actions and wanted him to take accountability,” a source told Us Weekly, adding that the duo are “still united.”

Jessica Biel has not yet publicly addressed Justin Timberlake and Alisha Wainwright‘s controversial photos herself, though a source opened up about how she feels about it.

Justin Timberlake put out a public statement apologizing to his wife Jessica Biel and his family for the photos of him holding hands with his Palmer co-star Alisha Wainwright.

Now, a source is revealing why Justin decided to publicly address the issue, versus ignore it.

“He feels terrible that this happened and for putting Jessica through the public scrutiny,” a source told E! News. “He knows she doesn’t deserve any of this and that he messed up.”

The source added that Justin “hopes by addressing what happened and apologizing to her publicly that they can put this behind them and start to move on. Justin feels like the story isn’t dying and hopes this will be the end of it. He always tries to keep his private life private, but he knows he made a big mistake in public and now has to own up to it.”

Here’s how Jessica Biel apparently felt about the whole thing.

Justin Timberlake is addressing the photos of him and Alisha Wainwright holding hands for the first time.

The 38-year-old actor took to Instagram on Wednesday (December 4) to release a statement saying that “nothing happened” between him and his 31-year-old Palmer co-star and to apologize to wife Jessica Biel for his actions.

“I stay away from gossip as much as I can, but for my family I feel it is important to address recent rumors that are hurting the people I love,” Justin wrote. “A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgement – but let me be clear – nothing happened between me and my costar.”

Late last month, Justin and Alisha were spotted getting cozy as they hung out at a bar together in New Orleans. Shortly after the photos were released, a source close to Justin said that their hang out was “completely innocent.”

“I drank way too much that night and regret my behavior. I should have known better,” Justin continued. “This is not the example I want to set for my son. I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that.”

Justin added: “I am incredibly proud to be working on Palmer. Looking forward to continuing to make this movie and excited for people to see it.”
