Alyssa Milano is speaking out to explain why she has remained silent on the sexual assault allegations made against former VP and current presidential candidate Joe Biden.

The 47-year-old actress was one of the early and most vocal supporters of the Time’s Up movement, so people have questioned why she hasn’t addressed the Biden allegations as she has endorsed him.

“I endorsed Joe Biden and there have been accusations against Joe about sexual assault… I have not publicly said anything about this, if you remembered it took me a long time to publicly say anything about Harvey as well,” Alyssa said on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. “I believe that even though we should believe women and that is an important thing and what that statement really means is that for so long the go to has been to not to believe them. So really we have to societally change that mindset to believing women, but that does not mean at the expense of not giving men their due process and investigating situations.”

One of Biden‘s former staff members claimed that she was sexually assaulted by him in 1993.

Alyssa added, “I have been very vocal about Biden and my support for him, I have known him for a long time. I did do my due diligence and the article that stood out to me was that Times Up decided not to take the case…. I did my work and I spoke to Times Up and I just don’t feel comfortable throwing away a decent man that I have known for 15 years in this time of complete chaos without there being a thorough investigation. I am sure that mainstream media would be jumping all over this as well if they found more evidence.”

Now, Rose McGowan is speaking out the slam Alyssa for her comments. (The two actresses both starred on Charmed)

“You are a fraud. This is about holding the media accountable. You go after Trump & Kavanaugh saying Believe Victims, you are a lie. You have always been a lie. The corrupt DNC is in on the smear job of Tara Reade, so are you. SHAME,” Rose wrote in a tweet.

Alyssa responded, “I continue to support you and applaud your bravery as well as acknowledge all the people you have helped along the way, @Rosemcgowan. Be well and stay safe.”

Alyssa Milano has shared a throwback breastfeeding photo to celebrate some new legislation!

“Breastfeeding in public is now legal in all 50 states!” the 46-year-old actress captioned the photo on her Instagram account.

Alyssa, who is married to Dave Bugliari, is the mother of two children – eight-year-old son Milo and five-year-old daughter Elizabella.

This isn’t the first time that Alyssa has shared a breastfeeding photo. When her daughter was still a baby, she posted a photo with the below quote from Milan Kundera.

“Ah, the joy of suckling! She lovingly watched the fishlike motions of the toothless mouth and she imagined that with her milk there flowed into her little son her deepest thoughts, concepts, and dreams,” the quote read.

Alyssa Milano recently shared her #MeToo story and is opening up about why she didn’t share sooner.

The 46-year-old actress explained on her Sorry Not Sorry podcast that she was assaulted on a movie set “almost 25 years” ago by a “very visible” alleged abuser.

“The beautiful thing that happened from #MeToo is that I have women from all over the world who who see me and come over to me and share their stories of sexual assault. They have given me the courage to not only share my stories…Part of this for me was very personal, but also what I felt like I needed to do for the women that have shared their stories with me,” Alyssa explained on The View.

Alyssa looked stylish in a printed shift dress as she headed back to her ride.

She recently got candid on her podcast about having two abortions back in 1993 in her early 20s, as well as why she made those choices.

“It was not something I wanted, but it was something that I needed, like most health care is,” she explained.
