The second season of Love, Victor is coming!

Season 2 of the Hulu original series is set to arrive on June 11, and the trailer for the upcoming season just premiered on Thursday (May 20).

Here’s a plot summary: “The popular teen dramedy returns as season two finds a newly out of the closet Victor entering his junior year at Creekwood High. But being out brings with it new challenges, as Victor faces a family struggling with his revelation, a heartbroken ex-girlfriend in Mia, and the difficulties of being an openly gay star athlete — all while navigating the excitement of his relationship with Benji.”

The series stars Michael Cimino, Rachel Hilson, Anthony Turpel, Bebe Wood, Mason Gooding, George Sear, Isabella Ferreira, Mateo Fernandez, James Martinez and Ana Ortiz.

The acclaimed new series Love, Victor has officially been renewed for a second season!

After seeing the way the first season ended, fans have been hoping for another season and their wish has been granted by the Hulu.

Love, Victor takes place in the same world as the movie Love, Simon and Nick Robinson even made a cameo appearance in one of the episodes.

The first season followed Victor, a new student at Creekwood High School, on his own journey of self-discovery, facing challenges at home, adjusting to a new city and exploring his sexual orientation. As Victor and his friends mature, so will season two, promising to build on these themes of sexual identity, acceptance and navigating the odyssey we all know as high school.

Michael Cimino, who plays Victor, reacted to the renewal news by saying, “The best thing that has ever happened in my life. IS HAPPENING AGAIN. FOR A SECOND SEASON. I’m so proud of this amazing cast and crew. They always pushed me to be my best just by pushing themselves. I always felt the need to rise to the occasion. And I promise I will continue to do so and hopefully continue to make an impact with this show. I love you all so much. Can’t wait to see you all for season two :). Ana Ortiz is returning to television to star in a spinoff series of the movie Love, Simon.

The new Disney+ show will still be called Love, Simon, though it will follow a different young character named Victor. The show will be set in the same world as the movie.

Ana is set to play Victor’s mother, Isabel, according to Deadline. Jennifer Garner played the mom character in the movie Love, Simon, which was a coming-of-age film about a closeted gay teen.

Ana Ortiz is most known for her work on the shows Ugly Betty and Devious Maids.

America Ferrera and Ana Ortiz arrive on the red carpet at the 2016 Stand for Kids Gala held at the 20th Century Fox back lot on Saturday (June 18) in Century City, Calif.

The 32-year-old actress and her former Ugly Betty co-star happened to bump into some of their former cast mates at the event.

The ladies ran into Christopher Gorham and Adam Rodriguez at the event, reuniting both of their on-screen couples!

“I swear we didn’t plan this! Tell me how we ran into @_adam_rodriguez at #standforkidsgala !!?! The universe is pulling us together! #uglybettyfamilyforever,” America captioned a picture of the group on Instagram.

Most of the cast had reunited the week before and even discussed teaming up for a revival film!

America Ferrera takes a funny photo with her former Ugly Betty co-stars at the Ugly Betty Reunion Presented with Entertainment Weekly during the ATX Television Festival on Saturday (June 11) in Austin, Texas.

The 32-year-old actress reunited with her co-stars Eric Mabius, Ana Ortiz, Vanessa Williams, Judith Light, Tony Plana, Mark Indelicato, Rebecca Romijn, Silvio Horta, Ashley Jensen and Michael Urie.

While at the event, America brought up the possibility of Hulu picking up the show, which ended in 2010, for a revival or a potential feature film.

“I mean, it took 20 minutes for everyone to say yes to my email to be at ATX,” she said. “I think they’re going to be at the reunion movie.”
