Bruno Mars has exciting new music news!

The 35-year-old entertainer took to Twitter on Thursday (February 25) to announce that he and pal Anderson .Paak have teamed up for a new band called Silk Sonic.

Along with the band announcement, Bruno also revealed that Silk Sonic will be releasing their first single off of their upcoming album next week on Friday, March 5.

“✨We locked in and made an album. The band’s called Silk Sonic. First song drops next Friday 3/5.✨” Bruno tweeted.

Bruno also revealed Bootsy Collins will be a “special guest host” on Silk Sonic‘s upcoming album.

Bruno and Anderson have been longtime friends and collaborators. Back in 2017, Anderson opened for the European leg of Bruno‘s last tour.

This will be the first album Bruno has released since his 2016 album 24K Magic, which won him the Grammy for Album of the Year. Anderson‘s last album Ventura was released in 2019.

Justin Timberlake and Anderson .Paak have some fun inside Anna Kendrick‘s house in their new music video for “Don’t Slack!”

The Trolls World Tour co-stars teamed up for the new visual released on Monday (April 6).

The track is part of the Trolls World Tour soundtrack, along with the album’s first single “The Other Side” from SZA and Justin.

The silly video features Justin Timberlake and Anderson .Paak popping up around a pajama-clad Anna Kendrick‘s house and surprising her, trying to lift her spirits before they all end up having a dance party in her living room.

It was shot by filmmaker/director Calmatic.

Trolls World Tour will be available on demand starting April 10.

Justin Timberlake makes an exclusive appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing on Wednesday (March 11), and takes part in a revealing round of “Spill the Tea“!

The 39-year-old FutureSex/LoveSounds singer joined his Trolls World Tour collaborators Anderson .Paak and SZA in the game, as well as recurring contestant, Carol Hudson, as Ellen did her best to match a random fact about each of them.

Justin admitted he once accidentally broke into Alcatraz after getting some fire fighters to take him and fellow *NSYNC band member Joey Fatone over to the island.

“We were shooting a video in the redwoods outside of San Francisco and we ended up shooting this one scene on this pier directly opposite Alcatraz. And at the time I was watching The Untouchables over and over again, and I was obsessed with the fact that Al Capone, you know, they put him in Alcatraz,” Justin explained. “And I said: ‘Who wants to go see Alcatraz with me?’ and Joey – who’s usually game for anything – he was like: ‘I’ll go with you!’ but we only had basically an hour in-between where they were setting up a different shot. I was like: ‘Joe, we are gonna go down in history as the dumbest people ever. We got caught breaking into a prison!’”

Justin Timberlake also talked about the new Trolls World Tour movie, Anderson .Paak revealed that he met Justin on social media, while SZA didn’t quite know how she got involved with the project – Watch more after the cut here!

Both Anderson and SZA are featured on the upcoming Trolls World Tour soundtrack with their songs “Don’t Slack” and “The Other Side.”

Justin Timberlake has joined forces with Anderson .Paak!

The 39-year-old hit-maker and Anderson, 34, teamed up to write their new song “Don’t Slack” specifically for the upcoming soundtrack to the animated film, Trolls World Tour, which is set to hit theaters on April 10.

“It was great we, we, well, we ended up with, like, three or four ideas in, like, three hours,” Justin told Zane Lowe on Apple Music. “I hope he doesn’t mind that I’m gonna say this right now, but we talked about a possible joint project. We talked about it, but yeah, he’s a busy man, too. I told him as well, too, I was like, ‘You need to enjoy your moment, bro, ’cause it is-’ He played me new stuff the other day – It’s unbelie- th- th- that dude- … Is so gifted. He’s so good.”

“Don’t Slack” follows Timberlake‘s other recent Trolls collab with SZA, “The Other Side,” which serves as the soundtrack’s lead single.

Justin Timberlake is unveiling the highly anticipated Trolls World Tour soundtrack – and it’s superstar-packed!

The Man of the Woods entertainer revealed the track list for the upcoming animated film’s soundtrack on Thursday (February 13) on social media.

The official Trolls account then further revealed the features on each song – and there are so many stars!

SZA, Kelly Clarkson, Rachel Bloom, Dierks Bentley, Anthony Ramos, Ester Dean, Kenan Thompson, Anna Kendrick, Mary J Blige, George Clinton, Anderson.Paak, Icona Pop, Sam Rockwell and Red Velvet are just some of the names featured on the impressive tracklisting.

The movie hits theaters on April 17, and is a sequel to 2016′s Trolls.

The stars joined many other celebrities at the opening of Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura Beverly Hills on Saturday (February 8) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

World-renowned three-Michelin-star Chef Massimo Bottura and Gucci President and CEO Marco Bizzarri mixed and mingled with friends of the fashion house, including June Ambrose, Beck, Jessica Barden, Janicza Bravo, Gia Coppola, Liz Goldwyn, Jeremy O. Harris, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Anjelica Huston, Dev Hynes, Harmony Korine, KiKi Layne, Hari Nef, Anderson .Paak, Linda Ramone, Soko, Tessa Thompson, Tyler, The Creator and Dita Von Teese.

The new location is Gucci and Bottura’s first restaurant venture in the United States. Guests mingled at the Osteria, located on the roof of Gucci’s Beverly Hills store and enjoyed dishes.

Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura Beverly Hills will open to the public for reservations beginning on February 17.
