Tituss Burgess, Adam Lambert, & More to Star in 'Ratatouille: The TikTok Musical'

The Disney movie Ratatouille is getting the Broadway treatment thanks to a huge TikTok sensation that blew up recently and a star-studded cast has been set to bring the musical to life.

After people on TikTok came together to write songs for a potential musical version of Ratatouille, some Broadway producers came together to set up a one-performance-only production to benefit The Actors Fund. The one-time performance will feature content created by members of TikTok’s #RatatouilleMusical Community, whose collective work has earned the engagement of more than 200 million fans around the globe, and will be performed with the 20-piece Broadway Sinfonietta orchestra.

Ratatouille: The TikTok Musical will begin streaming on Friday, January 1, 2021 at 7:00pm ET for 72 hours only. Tickets for the event are on sale exclusively on TodayTix.com.

Jake Gyllenhaal & Tom Hiddleston Join a Starry Crowd at 'Slave Play' Opening Night on Broadway

Jake Gyllenhaal and Tom Hiddleston walk the red carpet at the opening night of the new show Slave Play on Sunday night (October 6) at the Golden Theatre in New York City.

Jake walked the carpet with his producing partner Riva Marker and Tom was seen meeting up with fellow Marvel star Clark Gregg, who attended the show with his father-in-law Joel Grey.

More stars in attendance for the starry opening night included Emily Ratajkowski, Rachel Brosnahan and husband Jason Ralph, Joker‘s Zazie Beetz, Lee Pace, music producer Mark Ronson, George Takei, 13 Reasons Why‘s Tommy Dorfman, and Tom‘s Betrayal co-star Zawe Ashton.

Lots of Broadway stars were also there, including Jagged Little Pill‘s Kathryn Gallagher and Elizabeth Stnaley, Tina‘s Adrienne Warren, Hadestown‘s Amber Gray and Andre De Shields, Beetlejuice‘s Sophia Anne Caruso, Come From Away‘s Jenn Colella, and Tony winner Tonya Pinkins.

Slave Play is running on Broadway now through January 5.

FYI: Jake is wearing Dunhill. Rachel is wearing a The Vampire’s Wife dress. Emily is wearing a Babukhadia suit. Zawe is wearing a Simone Rocha dress.

Reeve Carney Performs 'Hadestown' Song 'Wait for Me' at Tony Awards 2019 (Video)

Reeve Carney belts out the show-stopping number “Wait for Me” from his musical Hadestown at the 2019 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 9) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

The 36-year-old actor was joined in the performance by his co-stars Eva Noblezada, Andre De Shields, Amber Gray, and Patrick Page, who were all nominated for Tonys.

Andre picked up the award for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical and the show on Best Musical, along with six more awards.

Hadestown's Andre De Shields Gives Touching Acceptance Speech at Tony Awards 2019

Andre De Shields accepts his award on stage at the 2019 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 9) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

The 73-year-old legendary actor won his first Tony for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical for his work in the new musical Hadestown.

During his touching speech, Andre provided his three rules for longevity.

“1: Surround yourself with people whose eyes light up when they see you coming. 2: slowly is the fastest way to get to where you want to be. 3: the top of one mountain is the bottom of the next so keep climbing,” Andre said.

'Hadestown' Stars Attend Opening Night Party After Getting Rave Reviews!
