Andrea Barber Shares Update On Her 'Fuller House' Co-Star Lori Loughlin: 'She's Doing Great'

Lori Loughlin‘s Fuller House co-star Andrea Barber is speaking out about her absence from the show amid the college admissions scandal.

The 43-year-old actress explained what it’s been like without Lori on set for the show’s final season.

“It was really sad, and we could feel her absence. It just felt like there was a hole in the whole season but also in that final episode. She should’ve been there, and I’m sorry that she wasn’t,” Andrea told People.

She added, “She’s one of the sweetest, kindest and most down-to-earth people I’ve ever met. I love her, I love her unconditionally…She’s just a sweetheart, and she’ll always be family to me.”

Andrea noted that she still keeps in touch with Lori, adding, “She’s doing great. She’s doing as good as possible.”

'Fuller House' Stars Seemingly Reference Lori Loughlin's Scandal During KCAs Speech

The cast of Fuller House won at the 2019 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards and they seemingly referenced co-star Lori Loughlin‘s college admissions scandal during their speech.

Candace Cameron Bure, Andrea Barber, and Jodie Sweetin were joined by their co-stars to accept the award for Favorite Funny TV Show at the Galen Center on Saturday (March 23) in Los Angeles.

While they never mentioned Lori or the scandal, the stars opened up about sticking together as a family through hard times.

“This family has a lot of heart,” Andrea said.

Candace added, “And where there’s a lot of heart, there’s a lot of love. And a loving family sticks together no matter what. They stick together through the hard times, they support each other, they encourage on another, they pray for each other, and they stand by their side no matter how tough it gets. And a loving family that sticks together also celebrates the really good times together!”

'Fuller House' Season 3 Trailer Marks Original Series' 30th Anniversary!

The season three trailer for the Netflix original series Fuller House has debuted and it marks the 30th anniversary of the Full House!

In the trailer, we watch as DJ Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure), Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin), and Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) reminisce about when the Tanners’ uncles moved in with them 30 years ago.

This of course gives a perfectly good reason for Danny Tanner (Bob Saget), Uncle Jesse (John Stamos), and Uncle Joey (Dave Coulier) to visit the family home!

The full third season of Fuller House debuts on September 22.
