The Golden Globe winner was honored with Best Female Performance for her role in Fox’s 9-1-1.

Angela Bassett was joined at the event by This Is Us star Sterling K. Brown and his wife, Ryan Michelle Bathe, Ryan Murphy, and director and cast of When They See Us – Ava DuVernay, Aunjanue Ellis, Asante Blackk, Niecy Nash, Jharrel Jerome, Marsha Stephanie Blake, and writer Attica Locke.

Also in attendance was the cast of The Neighborhood Tichina Arnold, Marcel Spears, Max Greenfield, Cedric the Entertainer and Beth Behrs.

AAFCA TV Honors, a new awards fete celebrating outstanding achievement in television. The Neighborhood won Best Comedy, Sterling took home Best Performance Male, Ryan received AAFCA TV Honors ICON Award and When They See Us won Best Limited Series, Best Ensemble and Best Writing.

The 60-year-old Golden Globe winner was joined at the event by her 9-1-1 co-star Jennifer Love Hewitt, The Masked Singer‘s Nicole Scherzinger, Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy and Ken Jeong, Empire‘s Vivica A. Fox and So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley.

Also in attendance to rep their shows were Filthy Rich‘s Kim Cattrall with her boyfriend Russell Thomas, Almost Family stars Emily Osment, Brittany Snow, Megalyn Echikunwoke, Mustafa Elzein and Mo McRae, Last Man Standing‘s Tim Allen, Nancy Travis, Amanda Fuller and Molly McCook.

Prodigal Son stars Halston Sage, Tom Payne, Keiko Agena, Aurora Perrineau and Lou Diamond Phillips also hit the carpet at the Fox TCA All-Star Party after attending their panel with co-star Frank Harts, executive producer Sarah Schechter, and creators Chris Fedak and Sam Sklaver at The Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Angela Bassett stopped by Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Thursday (August 1) with Chace Crawford, and dished about the upcoming ninth season of American Horror Story.

The 60-year-old actress was asked about Sarah Paulson not having a main role in the new season called, American Horror Story: 1984.

“I think it’s going to be very disappointing for a lot of fans,” Angela expressed.

Sarah Paulson is one of the only stars to have appeared in every season of the anthology series so far.

Angela also commented on whether she will make an appearance on the show: “Not now. Last year I wasn’t in it either and I came in for the last episode.”

Angela Bassett later dished on her acting career, including the best advice she’s received from another actor and what she’s learned about dealing with rejection.

The stars were joined at the premiere of their new Netflix movie by co-stars Frank De Julio, Jake Hoffman, Sinqua Walls, Emily Tremaine, and Tim Bagley along with director Cindy Chupack and Patricia‘s longtime boyfriend Eric White.

Angela Bassett stars in Avengers: Endgame as Ramonda, but she just revealed that she still hasn’t seen the movie!

“It’s three hours long, right?…I haven’t seen it,” the 60-year-old actress said while speaking with SiriusXM’s Dalton Ross and Jessica Shaw on EW Live.

“Oh, my God, carve out three hours?” Angela said.

Her kids, however, have seen the movie.

“They’ve seen it. They’ve seen it twice. I’m like, ‘Y’all have fun. I’m just gonna relax and chill at home, thanks. Tell me all about it,’” she said. “They tell me, ‘You always fall asleep in the movies, Ma,’ then I wake up and I got, like, the general gist of what happened. And the bad guys went down and the good guys solved it and it’s all good, right? Okay!”

The 55-year-old actor will be starring in the upcoming Fox series 9-1-1: Lone Star, a spin-off of the popular Ryan Murphy series.

The cast of 9-1-1, which has been renewed for a third season, also stepped out at the event. In attendance were Peter Krause, Ryan Guzman, Oliver Stark, Angela Bassett, Aisha Hinds, Kenneth Choi, and Rockmond Dunbar.

9-1-1 will air on Mondays at 8/7c this Fall while Lone Star will premiere in the mid-season.
