KJ Apa & Madchen Amick Support 'Riverdale' Creator at Opening of New Play!

KJ Apa and Madchen Amick attend the opening night performance of the new play Good Boys at the Pasadena Playhouse on Sunday (June 30) in Pasadena, Calif.

The play was written by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, who is the creator of Riverdale.

Breaking Bad and Life in Pieces actress Betsy Brandt stars in the play and she was joined on the carpet by her co-stars Dylan Arnold and Ben Ahlers.

Other stars in attendance at the event included Life in PiecesAngelique Cabral and Holly J. Barrett, as well as Daren Kagasoff, Connor Paolo, and Grace Van Dien.

The production is running until July 21.

The 19-year-old The Act star has a recurring role in season four of the comedy series.

She joins her sister Hunter King, who is a series regular.

Joey guest stars as Morgan, a 17-year-old pregnant teen who is considering placing her baby for adoption with Matt (Thomas Sadoski) and Colleen (Angelique Cabral).

Here’s the synopsis for episode two (Joey‘s first episode), titled “Demo Nosebreath Surgery Match”: “When Colleen and Matt try to impress a potential birth mother, they have a hard time competing against another rich, swanky couple. Also, Jen’s pregnancy takes a toll on Greg, Heather lets John take credit for her housekeeping while Joan recovers from knee surgery, and Tim arranges for Tyler to record a demo at a friend’s studio.”

Amanda Seyfried, Troian Bellisario, & Patrick J. Adams Attend an Evening of Comedy for a Good Cause

Amanda Seyfried walks the red carpet at the Good for a Laugh charity event on Friday night (March 1) at the Largo at the Coronet in Los Angeles.

The event was put together by Amanda and her husband Thomas Sadoski to support organizations helping children whose lives have been affected by war.

“War and conflict are almost always discussed in statistical and political terms in our culture, and people typically don’t take the time to think about the real cost on the most vulnerable: innocent children whose lives are devastated,” they said in a statement. “We are passionate about elevating their voices to the hearts of those who will listen. And we think the best way to get the hearts and minds of more people is to simply start by getting them to laugh.”

Also in attendance at the event were Troian Bellisario and Patrick J. Adams, his Suits co-star Sarah Rafferty, and Life in Pieces stars Betsy Brandt, Angelique Cabral, and Colin Hanks.

The guest list also included Louise Roe, Roxane Mesquida, Elizabeth Mathis, Angelique Cabral, Lauren Hastings, Natalia Bonifacci, Amanda Luttrell Garrigus, Anna Getty, Brett Ramey, Brigette Romanek, Candace Nelson, Catherine McCord, Chriselle Lim of “The Chriselle Factor”, Djuna Bel, Jenni Kayne, Katie Nehra, Marysia Reeves, Nikolai Haas, Rachel Zoe, Samantha Wennerstrom and Simone LeBlanc.
