Disney and Marvel have revealed more details about the third movie in the Ant-Man franchise!

Kathryn Newton has joined the cast as Cassie Lang, the daughter of Paul Rudd‘s superhero character Scott Lang.

Deadline reports that Cassie “she has the same powers as her father: the ability to shrink and grow in size. She did get her powers long after her first exposure to Pym Particles. She has the superhero alias Stature.”

It was also announced that Lovecraft Country actor Jonathan Majors is confirmed to play Kang the Conquerer.

Paul Rudd greets the crowd as he hits the stage at the premiere of his hit film Ant-Man And The Wasp held at Toho Cinemas Shinjuku on Tuesday (August 21) in Tokyo, Japan.

The 49-year-old actor was joined at the event by his co-star Evangeline Lilly, director Peyton Reed and hosts Taishi Nakagawa and Daisuke Miyagawa.

While promoting the flick, Paul and Evangeline recently revealed which Avenger would make for the best team-up for Ant-Man and Wasp.

“I would say probably Spider-Man, because we’ve got wasps, ants, and spiders,” Paul expressed. Evangeline said, “See, I was gonna say Mantis for that same reason. Or it could be Black Widow! There’s a lot of insects, but I was sort of thinking it would be really fun to do scenes with Mantis [laughs].”

“Mantis, yeah, yeah. Could be Black Widow,” Paul added.

Ant-Man & the Wasp has scored a major win at the box office in its opening weekend debut!

The film – starring Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly – earned $76 million at the box office this weekend, earning a first place spot. The new film also beat out Ant-Man’s original box office debut back in 2015, where it earned $57 million.

The Incredibles 2 earned enough to score a second place spot at the box office this weekend, where it pulled in $29 million.

Rounding out the top five were Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, The First Purge, and Sicario: Day of the Soldado, which earned $28.5 million, $17.1 million, and $7.3 million, respectively.

The new Marvel movie Ant-Man and the Wasp is in theaters now and you may be wondering if you should wait until the credits are over for additional scenes.

The co-stars hit the red carpet at the event held on Monday (June 25) in Los Angeles.

Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly team up for an Ant-Man and the Wasp fan event!

The 49-year-old Clueless star and the 38-year-old Lost actress stepped out for the event held at the National Theater and Concert Hall on Tuesday (June 12) in Taipei, Taiwan, China.

For the press conference and photo call, Paul suited up in grey and red, and Evangeline showed off her legs in a long-sleeve black and white dress with hoop earrings.

For their second looks, Paul rocked another grey suit with light-colored button-up and a red tie, and Evangeline looked elegant in a one-shoulder green dress with a gold statement earring.

“Incredible, incredible, incredible location, reception, spectacle tonight at the #antmanandthewasp fan event in Taipei, Taiwan,” Evangeline captioned the Instagram video slideshow below. “Do shan, Taiwan. Do shan. . #taipei #taiwan #redcarpet #marvel.”

Check out the six new character posters for Marvel’s upcoming film Ant-Man and the Wasp!

The posters feature Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly as The Wasp, Michael Douglas as Dr. Hank Pym, Laurence Fishburne as Bill Foster, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, and Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne.

This is our first look at Michelle in character as the original wasp!
