Chris Hemsworth is ready for action in the first official teaser trailer for his upcoming highly anticipated flick Thor: The Dark World, sequel to Thor.

Here’s a synopsis: After surviving an alien attack in The Avengers, Earth can’t catch a break, with a force Odin (Anthony Hopkins) says predates existence itself threatening to plunge the universe back into darkness.

The Alan Taylor-directed film also stars Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Kat Dennings, Zachary Levi, Jaimie Alexander, and more.

The film will hit theaters on November 8!

Also pictured: Chris attending the 2013 Wool Awards held at the Royal Hall of Industries on Tuesday (April 23) in Sydney, Australia.

Helen Mirren keeps it classy in Dolce&Gabbana while attending the premiere of her new film Hitchcock held at the BFI Southbank on Sunday (December 9) in London, England.

The 67-year-old actress was joined by her co-star Anthony Hopkins.

Helen recently chatted about how she feared that her role in The Queen would affect how people perceived her.

“When I met Anthony Hopkins for this film, I was afraid he was thinking of me as the queen,” Helen shared. “I’m not the queen. I’m just Helen.”

Jessica Biel and Scarlett Johansson get into character on the set of Hitchcock in these new images, given exclusively to JustJared.com!

The two ladies star in the flick centering around the love story between influential filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock and his wife Alma Reville during the filming of Psycho in 1959.

Anthony Hopkins plays the title role in the flick, with Helen Mirren as his wife Alma. Jessica and Scarlett take on Vera Miles and Janet Leigh, respectively.
